Why this matters Before today, every "premium" event on Nostr was an honor system: any client that knew the gated relay URL could read anything. relay-gate is the first production websocket proxy that actually enforces the NIP-42 handshake and filters query results per accessible-creator set. ## What comes next Third-party clients will be able to surface a native Subscribe card thanks to the NIP-11 access_control field we proposed in PR #2318.
